I just bought a 8mm Nambu reloading die set from C&H and it just does not look right to me. In the resizing die the expander ball is way smaller than 8mm and is almost as long as the cartridge.
It this normal or do I have a error in my set? |

Ron22,
I tried to answer your question last week while on the road in Ohio - needless to say I FUBARed and lost my post. I'll try it again.....
I am not familiar with the 8mm Nambu set from C&H. I have an RCBS set. Typically pistol dies come with three dies - Resizing, Expander and Bullet Seat. I think what you are looking at is the expander die, which bells the case mouth slightly to allow easy insertion of the bullet. If that is not the case drop me an email for post here with more questions. I'll do what I can to help.

Dave,
I'll send you data that Midway provided years ago. I've also worked up a load with AA#5, and will post that here if/when I get a chance. I'll also send copies to Trey so he can sticky them here. I can convert my PDF to JPGs.

There's some guy down south, doesn't get out much that has a few nambus, rumor is he either going to: retire and search for Big Foot, open an discount bait and tackle adult dvd pawn and porn tobacco outlet with a brothel on the side, or join the circus. I'll see what he's going to do with his pistols. Trey _________________ Subscribe to BANZAI!
