The AGCA show was this weekend. As always some pretty nice stuff, not a lot Japanese Militaria-wise but still a few nice things. A nice matched 3 digit 27th (if you have a good stock with handguard, email me), a 'B' sight 8th, and match/mummed 10th, a mint 17.6 Type 94 Nambu, quite a few reasonable NCO swords, bayonets were the most reasonably priced as I've seen in years and I couldn't buy a thing.

A .50-70 caliber 2nd Allin Conversion Trapdoor Springfield Rifle and bayonet.

Henry Sledge was there with his fine display of his Dad's (E.B. Sledge - With the Old Breed: At Peleliu and Okinawa) treasures. He's wanting to get the word out on the HBO mini-series The Pacific (look for it March 14). Some very nice stuff! I'm trying to get Henry to bring his display to the shootout, will keep you posted!

A great show again, good friends and with quite a few bargains to be had. Below are some pictures of our displays.

gwsiii's - Neat Japanese...Stuff Display:

It included 2 rifles serially numbered 5, a bayonet with the same number, a Love of Country Type 38, consecutive Izawa 9th series rifles, 1 each of the Artillery swords, marked Brass and wooden handled and unmarked wooden handled. A 29th series Type 38 with no arsenal mark, a Japanese Zero propellor blade with original ship-home tag...Stuff that I'd look at and go "that's neat"....

Alsaka's FN Browning Display:

It includes several one of a kind FN brownings, some are marked.

CrazyJapaneseCop's Iraqi Display:

Oppy38's U.S. Edged Weapons Display:

HSledgehammer's Display -
E.B. Sledge and The Pacific

I didn't pay to much for that old Arisaka, I just bought it a little bit too soon!

Looks like it was a good show. Wish I could have attended.
