I didn't pay to much for that old Arisaka, I just bought it a little bit too soon! |

As always great seeing you and your Dad again. You will have to post more photos of all three of those rifles once you have the time. |

A few more pics...Bubba got to two pretty rare ones, hopefully they'll make a full recovery...My thanks to one and all...
Nagoya inspected Type 38 No arsenal or series #1.
Tokyo Juki Kogyo Type 99 CC Rifle 2nd series #341
A couple of Japanese Smith & Wessons... Top one is a New American with spur guard (lettered, made up from parts of 4 or more 9k ser# guns, got any grips?), bottom is normal Russian model (I think), both .44 Russian caliber.

Now you got yourself a nice project to work on over the fall and winter. Your Dad put you up to posting those S&W's didn't he? |

No, half of his 8 cowboy gun display were my Japanese Smiths...A gentleman walked up with his, and wanted to compare the two, he was supposed to be sending the information to Roy Jinks. He considers himself akin to 'Ye Kindley Olde Editor' who is at a technological disadvantage when it comes to modern conveniences other than chicken wings (cameras, computers, indoor plumbing, etc...) So when he saw I had a camera, he asked me to take some photos. For those counting ser# is 2641. _________________ Subscribe to BANZAI!

I got the Nikon because of its size, anti shake, macro ability. Been well pleased with it. Still plan to get the Canon digital SLR for home use when I get some $$$ saved up. _________________ Subscribe to BANZAI!
