I didn't pay to much for that old Arisaka, I just bought it a little bit too soon!

What a great show. I had absolutely no money, but some trade fodder and was able to swap some 'less than complete' former slings for a carbine stock and bolt, a canteen, a less than pristine part rubberized canvas, part leather cavalry pouch, and a Jinsen Type 38 rod. So a fantastic show. Had to pass on some minty double barrel flare pistols, a minty North China Type 30 copy, 4.11 Tokyo Type 14, a type 89 and cover, and my absolute favorite, an FN browning auto with pacific theater capture papers, and a contract holster. I didn't see a lot of Japanese rifles or pistols there for that matter, but I had a great time otherwise. There was an outstanding Chinese pole arm display and some other very interesting displays. You missed a great show, and some fine fellowship, weapons and food. Hope to see you next year...If anyone knows how to get in touch with the gentleman with the FN browning let my Dad know so he can see about my birthday present for the next 10 years....
Here are some pictures of the displays at the show...
