Just the normal local show this past weekend and I almost passed on it but decided to go visit the many folks I knew would be there. Turned out to be a good day for me. Found two Type-4 pottery grenades (one white, one light brown (not glazed) and a small cloth rayed navy flag 14 X 17 inches, it has yellowed with age but over all in really nice shape. Has some minor pin holes and the ties have been cut off but I think it will make a super back drop for displays and photos.
The only Nambu that I saw was a N1st, 18.9 in about 80% percent with minor pitting on the back grip strap. The only thing that was neat about the rig was the holster. Rubberized canvas of course but the guy mailed it home that way! You still see the address printed right across the top. Just kind of neat, that’s all.
No rifles of our liking to be found. |

My Dad has always said that a gunshow is a social event, you see folks there that you never see anywhere else, finding something for your collection, is just an added bonus. Thanks for the report, sounds like you got some good stuff! Trey _________________ Subscribe to BANZAI!

I didn't pay to much for that old Arisaka, I just bought it a little bit too soon! |
